Moodle Workshop for Academia
Two-Day Workshop: Thursday 28 June – Friday 29 June
hosted by the Virtual University of Uganda
This two-day workshop, limited to 14 participants, is intended for University Administrators, Systems Administrators (familiarity with Linux necessary), Departmental Secretaries and Faculty Administrators involved in distance-learning programmes. The workshop builds on introductory theoretical presentations whereby participants will be guided through the process of setting up, adding content, and managing Moodle sites for online learning, and participants will be able to present their sites for constructive analysis by the group. At the end of the workshop, IT managers and faculty administrators will have the knowledge and skills to set up and and manage online courses using Moodle.
